  • Is this a marketing crash course?

    Yes and no. YES: This is an intro to marketing and you'll be creating a marketing plan that is specific to your brand and business. NO: We can't cover everything, but we can set you up with a monthly plan and look ahead for how you're going to market your business.

  • Am I going to learn lots of new stuff in this course?

    YES! This course is designed to help you cut through the clutter and work out how you're going to market your brand and connect with your target audience. Through guided exercises, video presentation and customizable templates, you’ll complete this course with a clear understanding of what your marketing plan looks like and how to get out there and do it!

  • Are you going to be able to give me the answers?

    If only! No, the point with an online course is that we can guide you, point you in the direction and give you a wealth of inspiration and jumping off points, but this is about you digging deep and asking yourself the important questions that’ll mean you get deep and meaningful answers. For the founders’ course, you will get group zoom sessions and online time with us, but the deep diving in the workbooks will have already been done, so this time is for guidance after you’ve done the work. If you’re looking for someone to give an answer to you, you’ll need to invest in consultancy.

  • What will this course deliver that I can't find online?

    CLARITY. This course will give you a clear path forward in marketing your business. This is a wealth of knowledge carefully organized in a 6 module course that will save you thousands of dollars in marketing consulting fees.

  • What is the time commitment like?

    6 hours of time alone to watch and write and 6 hours live for our group session. We recommend adding some additional hours for additional support we know you'll want/use on slack and any add on Q&A sessions, with a total time investment estimate of *20 hours* spread out over 6 to complete the course and create your own marketing plan.

  • When does the course start?

    The first live session will be October 28, 2024 and the course material will be released on October 23rd (or sooner). All live session will occur each Monday from October 28th through December 2nd (for a total of 6 weeks). For the week of November 11th we will be moving the live to Wednesday November 13th in observation of Remembrance Day.

  • I'm a student or I run a nonprofit - do you offer and special pricing options?

  • What is the course schedule like?

    The course spans over 6 weeks with a video presentation and workbook for each module (1 module per week). Each of the videos run between 10-20 minutes and we estimate the module workbooks to take up to 20-60 minutes each. We will also have a 1-hour live session per week and ensure that you’re provided the course material at least 1 week in advance of our live sessions. You will also have access to us on Slack for additional support and we’ve been known to add bonus live Q&A sessions for all students to get some added support as needed.

  • When are the live sessions for the 6 modules? And what if I can't make it!?

    The first live session is at 1pm PST on Monday October 28th and the rest will take place each Monday (at the same time) until our last session Monday December 2nd. There is a slight change for the week of November 11th where the live will take place on Wednesday November 13th at 1pm PST in observation of Remembrance Day. We will record ALL sessions so you can watch the session on your own time if you cannot attend and we’ll be on Slack daily to answer any questions and support you throughout the course so you’ll have time to be supported even if you can’t make all the live sessions.
